In 2021 we received £182,000 in grant funding towards our appeal which has allowed us to fund a new CT Scanner for the Lingen Davies Cancer Centre, as well as creating three new clinic rooms in the Centre to provide more space for growing numbers of patients.
The new CT Scanner will ensure patients’ treatment can be better planned, targeted, and delivered more efficiently – ensuring more people can be treated daily.
As we look forward we will grow our investment in our LiveLife Cancer Awareness Service. This free-to-access service has been launched to allow us to reach members of the public and raise awareness about cancer, the signs, and symptoms of the disease, and where to turn for help and support.
We promise to spend the grants given wisely and within the remit to which they have been gifted. We are also committed to keeping in touch with our funders, and ensuring we let them know how we are progressing, as well as sharing the news on the impact of the donation.
We are governed by 13 trustees who have supported us for many years and who bring a wealth of experience to the trustee board.
Our annual accounts are published with information on the grants we have received from funders which can be viewed on our website. Or watch our latest annual report video to see the impact we have on the local community.
