We’re looking for an enthusiastic and friendly Volunteer Coordinator to join our small but effective charity team. We are exceptionally lucky to have a strong base of support in our community, and this continues to grow. We pride ourselves on building great relationships with our supporters, and this role will be a key one in maintaining these.
Our new Volunteer Coordinator will help us make sure that our volunteers are well looked after, properly trained and kept in the loop with the charity’s plans. They will also provide support to people out in the community who are organising events and activities to raise funds for Lingen Davies. Volunteers are a key part of our team and we really couldn’t do what we do without them.
They will be a key part of the office team, based on one of our reception desks and responsible for providing exceptional customer service as well as completing a range of administrative tasks to support the work of the Fundraising Office.
They will be friendly, adaptable and able to work without direct supervision. They will have a strong eye for details, excellent IT skills and a genuine interest in helping us support people with cancer in our community.
For an informal conversation about the role please contact Louise Dawson, Operations Manager on [email protected]
The Job Description, Person Specification and Application form can be found at the bottom of this post. This job is full time but we are open to a conversation about a job share for the right candidates.
