Welshpool Livestock Market Fundraising total reaches over £9,000!

The Welshpool Livestock Market, based on the Shropshire/Welsh border has now raised over £9000 for Lingen Davies!

The market has  been supporting us for a number of years now and raised a whopping £2500 for us in 2023 and recently donated £1860 from a raffle held at the Christmas Cracker Market in December.

The event went ahead despite the storms over the weekend and the public attended in their droves, snapping up the raffle tickets in the hopes of winning one of the excellent raffle prizes which had been donated.

Having such a large footfall and with clients being predominately farmers coming through the door on Market Days the Livestock Market were able to sell tickets to them prior to the event and sales reached £1,000! A fantastic effort!

Welshpool Livestock market has been a really keen supporter of Lingen Davies, choosing us because we are local charity doing important work in the communities they also serve.  Their total fundraising efforts to date for us stand at just over £9,000.
