Patients invited to have their say

Lingen Davies Cancer Fund proudly partnered with NHS Shropshire, Telford and Wrekin ICB to host a recent patient engagement day – focussing on people’s cancer experiences.

The event was held at AFC Telford United’s football ground and more than 50 people came to have their say. Experienced health engagement professionals facilitated roundtable conversations where patients – and their family and carers – were invited to give feedback on their experiences, good and bad.

Lingen Davies staff were joined by colleagues from Macmillan, Severn Hospice, Hamar Centre Counselling, 5K Your Way, iCan, Jenna Blair Yoga, Emma Louth Beauty, Look Good Feel Better, and the Longevity Coach – all organisations working to support cancer patients and offer a wide range of services for those living with and beyond cancer.

Patients who have been diagnosed with cancer in the last three years are invited to have their say using this NHS link https://www.smartsurvey.co.uk/s/NHSSTW/

The findings will inform the development of future service provision and enable improvements.
